Leaving tomorrow for the homeland again. Stopping 1 night each way to see my parents and then spending the weekend with my girls. My youngest turns 20!! Leaving Mia at home as we need to take the dog and drop her off at my parents. Weather looks good in Toronto for the weekend.

So after my strange noise fiasco, I realized my brake pads a pretty worn down, so I figured in the spirit of preventative maintenance I'd go ahead and do a couple more "fixes". Gonna paint the calipers, add some stainless steel brake lines and change the pads all in one shot, funds won't let me do the rotors at the same time (sad for me). Think this is possible for a weekend job?

well, i would suggest doing rotors instead of SS lines... youll benefit more from them.

the brake job shouldnt take you more than 2 hours.

Morning all!! I got back from MD last night and got an awesome amount of sleep last night (read = woke up an hour ago). I have the rest of the week off so the 6 and the 8 will get some much needed TLC.

technically it should be festivus...I didnt have an arbor day party this year though because I have been on meds that have prevented me from drinking for the past 3 months so maybe ill have something this summer. Cant wait for friday when i can have my first drink!

Whenever we decided to fish for Barracuda, we carried a bat or something similar to take care of over sized Barracuda like this.

I went on a charter in jamaica and landed a nice barracuda...it was snapping all over the place and i was like man how is this local going to get the hook out of its mouth? this ought to be good! Well the local grabbed a steel pipe with a T on the end and i was like wow this is going to be amazing he is going to show off years of technique here as he manages to pin this giant flopping fish to the deck in just such a manner that its mouth is open and the hook is accessible but the fish cant move!

....yea...he just bludgeoned it.

haha...i'll be at the lake, no shark worries, just other boaters and the drunks! have a safe trip bruce! wow, the kids are growing up! juist think, the first time we met at gillette, you had to leave to go bowling with them...she was like 12/13!!!!!

Came out ok....was a PITA to paint with the wheel on though. All I did for now was paint the backside of the arches. I need to go out and buy the bondo and supporting materials to start the next phase of the project. I've never used bondo before so by the time I'm done I may just have a widebody kit in the rear. lol
