NEMOC Random BS Thread

Weather seems rather nice here today. Go figure, my work golf league started up and today is my last day of bowling league, so I can't go golf on a nice day. I have to instead sit inside.

You need to help me convince Jenn how awesomely fun a bowling league is...

That's where you find the cheap leagues. The one that I'm in is called a 10 for 10 league. 10 weeks @ $10 a night and you end up with a ball at the end. Of course it's a crappy plastic ball, but still. My old big money league that I was in until this year (since I was 20) is $15 a week + penalties and card game. One night I dropped $25 between those...without beer.

I still can't get over how much fuzzie looks like my Katie.

Katie have the white spots in the pits of her front legs and a big white patch on her belly rear side?

probably not as pronounced as fuzzie's, but she does have little white patches in those areas.

Oh that's not too bad. My old was was from August to May.

Yeah, that's what I'm finishing up now. $17 a week @ 32 weeks = $544...but it's fun...and there's a big dinner at the end (free) and they give a lot of the money back in prizes. My team's got a shot @ first place overall....big money there.

For sure. One time my team won the most games in the season, yet didn't win a single quarter.

lol. We do two 16-week halves. My team was 4th the first half....there's a good chance we won't win either half but could take 1st overall (the first halves winners are sucking the 2nd half)

Looks interesting...Josh, I'm sure you've been following this. Personally, I'm for it...even if I lived out there and had that view...I'd still be for it. We need clean, renewable energy and they're saying this wind farm will provide 75% of the power needed to power the Cape and surrounding islands.

Windfarms are pieces of s***. Yay, let's make this big huge thing that costs a lot of money and generates a little bit of electricity 15% of the time. Awesome!
