NEMOC Random BS Thread

Hi Craig, where have you been?

See what happens when you don't do what I told ya(attention)

Nice Mark. Needs lowering though

I lose interest in the "car scene" during the winter. I also have decided to stop modding the car. I'm strictly on a maintenance schedule now. Funds don't really allow for it. Soooo, I've kept myself away from the forums, because they are too enticing.

Soooo went to install my HID bulbs in the fogs today and found out that they are H1 bulbs instead of 9006... have to contact DDM I guess.

Edit.. sorry that sounded funny. The ordered bulbs were H1 when they were supposed to be 9006.

spent the last 9 hrs in the yard, trimmed all the shrubs, raked out all the winter debris/leaves from the mulch beds, cut down some dead tree limbs,(limb) had a small bonfire, moved a few trees, plated some flowers, weeded my moms garden...(blah)....ok...i'm beat!!!

So, I have this random clunk when I shift or let up off the throttle under boost. At first I thought it was the aftermarket TMIC hitting the firewall, but I put the stock on back on and the noise is still there. Most the Speed6 owners suggest going to an aftermarket rear engine mount, which I already have.. Grrrrrrrr.... So annoying.

I was going to head to base to throw the car on a lift to check around, but they are all taken. >=/

I think I will get off my ass today and finally Dynamat my trunk like I have been meaning to do for a year now.

Is the clunk in the engine bay? Check the tranny mount?

Also maybe the diff mount? I have seen those bolts back out on their own.

Oh ok... gotcha. I thought you had ordered the wrong ones. That sucks.

Yeah at first I thought I was missing something, like they came with an adapter or something to make them fit... then looked up the image of an h1 bulb and saw that they were the same as those..

Hopefully I will be able to get it all taken care of quickly, though they will probably want the bulbs I have returned first before I am able to get the correct ones.

I might just buy new bulbs since they are 10 bucks (18 shipped) from their site.

just did 25 mi on the bike with a friend...just under 2 hours...bit nippy out...also seemed to have hit every big hill in the area. went through melrose, winchester, stoneham and wakefield :D

Time to get back in the saddle.

Will do the yard work in a couple of weeks. Leaving in the morning.

Hey everyone. Spent 3 hours today cleaning the inside of my car from top to bottom, every nook and cranny...it was waaaaaaaaaay overdue for a good cleaning...almost to the point of being embarassing lol.

After that I spent about 2 hours installing the new rotors and pads. Took longer than it should have due to two of the screw on the front rotors getting stripped, had to drill them out (the threads were unharmed :p ).

Looking forward to getting my new set of summer wheels/tires in a week or two from now. Can't wait to put those things on and get the stock wheels and snow tires off.

Edit: Next on the "mod list" (after the wheels/tires come in) is tinting the windows and then possibly an exhaust...not sure about that yet though.
