Need your opinions on Pirelli Winter Carving 16''

Yes, winter is coming here in Quebec, I'm about to change my tires. Looks like I'm gonna go with the 205/55/16 Pirelli Winter Carving for 150 each.

Good choice ?

I'm no expert or nothing, but $150 each seems pretty expensive for relatively narrow 16" tires...

After a quick look at tirerack...
The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires scored high in their survey and are $96 each (American, before shipping) for the same size (205/55 16).
Those same tires at tirerack are $109 each (+ shipping). (I think these are the same tires.)

What do you want out of the tires? I mean, are you looking for good performance, maximum snow traction, etc.?
