Need help with SS AFC v2

.. Okay FINALLY.. I banged out like 4 hrs at my mechanics spot yesterday and we got deep into the "talks" He had taken out the stock BPV and left put on the BOV.. I am Just learning more and more on this car, so sry if I had given out false info...

so after i was there for a while, he asked me what do I want done with the old parts (stock intercooler, piping, etc..) where I he then pointed out the STOCK BOV to me ( hes a 2nd and 3rd gen rx-7 junkie, and new to this car as I) i told him if he wants that part he could keep it, but I just finished reading this and put 2 and 2 together and realized that MUST be the BPV, so I just called him now and told him to put the BPV back on and see if it makes a difference

This entire time we thought maybe the car was a little to lean, so he already made it richer (lack of a wideband has left us guessing this) and said it has made a difference. But I will be going tomorrow and talking it out face to face

But thx alot for the help guys, And Ill get a full pic of the engine bay, and break it down into 4 quadrants so you guys could help me out a bit more on this

I'm thinking that putting the stock BPV on will solve your problem.

is the stock bpv going to go in between the 2 pipings where it is sealed off?

Well I got both good news and bad news:
Goodnews
Stalling stopped :-D
And a check engine light just got thrown up :-(
As soon as i find out what the code is ill throw it up to see if n e 1 could help me with this new issue

Never mind!! Problem is solved. CeL was there for a few seconds then went away. And I have a Very minor stall problem. But I could deal with it. Thx for all the help guys

Did you reset your ECU?

Make sure you do that so the ECU can learn to idle better.

thx for the advise.. Ill do that, cuz the lil stalling here and there is still a bit annoying.

But i can say this... I took the car out for a GOOD spin, burning out, doing 180's etc etc etc. and after FINALLY opening up the car, the car sounds ABSOLUTELY amazing

You need a wideband asap. Making any adjustments to the map w/o knowing the A/F is reckless and very unwise.

its been said already, but a wideband is crucial at this point to tuning the AFC or any other engine management system for that matter. making map adjustments without it is like hunting with a blindfold on.

will surely do so.. i am doing nothing to the car in the comming future except for HID's and tints, but ill deff start putting money on the side for the wideband
