Hello everyone! I use to always watch this topic and there's really nice car out there!
But I need your help!!!?? I just install Skunk2 sleeves on my P5 and it's pretty much at his lowest point.....but I just found out that I have to change both of my ball joint in the front and have to align it (Im french idk if its align) BEFORE I do all this Do I need camber kits or anything else to stop burning my tires?? Are the stock link kits and camber are enough to adjust it right and finally Are the speed rims are gonna fit under the fender without rubbing ???

Would be really appreciate if I can get some help cause I cant use my car for now

I did when I was 17 and didn't know better lol. They're awful, take them off and get real coilovers or some good struts & springs.

Yeah but its already on the car.......so for now its going to be the setup im rollin!

wtf anyone can give an answer

I had the Skunk2's with some bad "Camber bolts" that I got on ebay. Those were the only camber kits that I found for the Protege, without buying real coilovers. I loved how low the Skunk2's went, but that was it. They always made popping noises, and were not very reliable, not to mention, no way to adjust camber. The bolts that I bought did not adjust. Short story, I threw the Skunk2's in the garbage and ordered real coilovers.

ok thx, yeah I know these are far from the best coilovers (sleeves) ....Im gonna run these for this summer cause I really love hte drops on it, it gives a more aggressive look to the car. But pretty mucj sure gonna change to full next summer.

But by the time I Still need to know if anyone slammed a P5 with Skunk2 and if he needed anything special to run it without burning tires or rubbing!
I have an appointment this week at my local garage NEED to know guys ????
Thx

If you have dropped the skunk2 sleeves to their lowest point, there is no longer enough adjustment in the factory suspension to correct the negative camber. You will needto purchase camber bolts to try and correct the camber...but even thatmay not be enough. The shop doing the alignment should bbe able to get the bolts

Like I said before, the only camber stuff you can get with skunk2's are the camber bolts, but they dont do anything, they are pointless.
