Need Help w/ Osram H7 silverstars!

i bought a set of H7 silverstars from a place on the net. on the box they say H7 type 2E. i took my old ones out and compared and i don't see how these could work. there alittle different. ne way. is this the right bulb and am i just an idiot or did they send me the wrong ones? i think the type 2E is the problem, i think i need plain H7. thanks

What do your bulbs look like? You have to pull the actual bulb from it's socket and put the new bulb into the socket and plug it back into your headlight housing.

(werd) The socket he is talking about is the black piece that the H7 bulb is connected to when you pull it out of your headlight...It looks like its one piece, but it isn't and you have to remove that piece so you can put your new bulbs into the black piece and put them back into the headlight....

sweet, ill install them today. i didn't want to break the old ones by trying to bull the black thing off but i kinda figured it needed to be taken off. thanks for the feedback. i don't know what i would do without this forum!

Be careful not to break the bulb in the palm of your hand while taking it off. Mine was a b**** to come off and it took me 10min. per side. I just used a flathead screwdriver to loosen the socket up a little.

i just wiggle mine from side to side very gentle like until it comes out, was easy for me.
