Would these rub on my P5? I was looking at 17x7's but I found these cheap, will the extra inch make a lot of difference? Are they too wide? The hubby says the tires are too wide but I've seen 17x8's before. Any opinions would be more than welcome. Thanks! :D

I have 17 x 7 inch rims on my car and there fine, just try to keep the load light! no hauling sumo's around!! you should post a pic of the rims!!

You're going to rub with that wide of a wheel. I remember reading about a guy with 18x8 Oz supperleggra's and even after rolling the fenders and with a 2.5 inch drop he rubbed all the time.

What wheels are these and what's the offset?

Awww man! They're Konig Blatants that I found on esmackmotors. I'm not sure the offset though, that's just the info that was on the site. Does this help? Thanks for the replies BTW! :D

yep, azeli's right....geeze clownfish!!! :p

edit: sorry, i didn't see the 235mm tires. i don't even know if those tires will fit on a 7" wheel...you may want to check that out.

im running 18 x 7.5 but with a 48 mm offset.. no rubbies with 6 people in the car ( dont ask) and h&r springs + fullsystem in the back.

Yeah, I already checked out discount tire but I'm due for new tires anyways and I'm lookin' to kill a couple birds here if I can get the tires and rims off esmack for less than or equal to the cost of a set of high quality tires. Hmmmm.... here's the link: esmack Blatants Whatcha guys think? Should I go for it? Or will I be rubbin' my way around town?

Edit: Correct link up now.

another thing about those tires is that your overall wheel diameter is gonna be much larger (~34mm) than the stock wheel/tire combo, which will mess with your speedo and odometer.

So I should scratch it then? I'm not too keen on my odo and speedo being off. Thanks a lot for the advice guys! :D
