Man.. i am so sorry to hear about your car troubles. I can kind of know what your feeling - I killed my front bumper today- totaly my fault. I know it's not engine problems (which are usually more $$$) but it just sucks having to deal with things like that out of nowhere.
I know it sucks but it will work out - that's what i keep telling myself!

was this small rock magnetic???

Hmmm, did you check the spark plugs? Could be a hunk of an insulator. Also, I've heard of at least one instance of a VTCS/VICS butterfly coming loose and parts being injested. Showed up as a plug's electrode being bent and shorted.

spark plugs were the 1st thing Ive checked. All of them are fine.

as far as that small piece of rock...i dunno if its magnetic or not but it looked reddish, some s*** eh. Tomorrow my car is going to the dealer to see if they will cover it by warranty, better motherfuckers.

I doubt they will. I am assuming you dont have alot of money for the repairs. Thats the b**** about modding, random s*** can happen from too mcuh stress, as BrianMP5t and Spicy, and many many others can say from experience.

I have no idea what that reddish rock was but it cant be good.

Depending on what you are selling, i might buy it off of you after new years.

Well I just came back from Open Road Mazda dealership (New Jersey on route 1 in Edison) Guy said that their mechanics are gone for the day but tomorrow they will take a look and let me know whats going on. ****, Although, stock exhaust manifold, stock motor mount and stock harmonic balancer (UR pulley) are back on. Im pretty sure dealer wont tell the difference between J-spec intake camshaft (as I didnt have any chance to get it off and replace with stock one) and exhaust camshaft. Although, Injen CAI is still on (just because I cant find a darn antifreeze rezervuar bracket for now) TWM shifter also on. I doubt they will blame these two parts although who knows, and if so, I will dare them to prove it, hehe. Fuckers better fix it under warranty, although, I think it was my fault of engine braking.

As far as for selling stuff, Unorthodox underdrive pulley is definetly for sale....still debating on the header but 80% of me is leaning towards selling it. Probably gonna keep AWR motor mount but might change my mind. If the J-spec intake camshaft will be out of my motor, then I will definetly sell it. As far as the TWM Performance shifter/shift knob and Racing beat MP3 axle back...Im leaving these two in.

eh twilight, I really appreciate it. Thanks all for support, I will hear from dealer tomorrow. Hopefully I will like what I will hear from them :(

Actually yea, you are, hehehe. I just came from the mazda dealer. They took a look at it and weirdest thing ive ever heard from them.

Lets begin from the start of the day today. As my car was delivered to the dealer yesterday, this morning I called them to find out if they took a look at my car, they said not yet, so I called back in the afternoon. Guy on the phone told me that mechanic drove the car for about 10 minutes and did not nottice any clunk or anything. I was extremely surprised to hear that. As soon as I hung up the phone, I called my dad's mechanic (as he was the one to drop off my car at the dealer with his tow truck) and I asked him if the car was still making clunk noise when he was pulling it out of the garage to put it on the tow truck....he said yes it still did clunk. **** ME! WTF NOW! Then I went to dealer about an hour ago, took the keys and cranked my baby up...and whatcha know?! NO ******* CLUNK!!!! WHAT THE **** NOW! My father still says its one of the lifters, maybe got out of the position (as I didnt adjust the lifters when dropped camshaft in there) and then somehow got back into the position, weird s***. Anyhow, So I drove my car for 15 miles from dealer to my house, everything seems fine for now.

Therefore, since OBX header and Unorthodox Underdrive pulley are off, Im selling these, because I WILL F***ing go for BOOST very very soon now.
If anyone is interested look for a link in my sig.

well adjusting your valve clearances to spec is still a very good idea
true, but I will do that, when I will get my turbo set up, hehe. 1-2 months left hehehe

Weird, I was thinking cooked rod bearing. but it only does it part of the time. Damn Mazda.

yea man, tell me about, you should of seen my face when I started the car at the dealer lot. Even tho I was happy and still am, but s***, Im still wondering what in the ******* hell happened past Friday, and how the **** did that rock get into my header, which I took off (Ill take pics of that rock tomorrow and post them up here)

ALSO!!!!! I want to say THANK YOU to all of you fellas and ladies, for your support and opinions. I really really appreciate it. Its great to see so many voices trying to help out as soon as possible. Thank you Mazdamaniacs!!!

By the way. Will it make any difference if I will get aftermarket lifters (if there is such a thing) or J-spec Protege valve lifters and valve springs?

Also J-spec intake camshaft doesnt have any lift, all it has is a longer duration.

well they're still called lifters, but more appropriately tappets

it's a shim over bucket design like on motorcycles
