nate is one of the nicest coolest guys in our group here and if ANYONE whateso ever has a problem with him being gay i know that myself and the ENTIRE MEC club will have a big problem with that person.

now onto the subject that was the start of the thread i talked to my local dealer and its that the protege was called that for 2 reasons. it was the sedan learning the road skills from the miata AND that mazda NA was moving away from the number nameplates like 323 626 and the B series trucks. they wanted each car to have a name not just a number. they felt it would conect with people better then just a number.

I put that avatar up less as a "coming out" and more to make people realize that not everyone is turned on by the same kind of images. If I have to look at ass-shaking females and self breast exams, they can look at this fine-ass boy. Doesn't seem unfair to me. If anyone feels strongly against it, they can:
1. Talk to everyone who has suggestive pics of females in their avatars/signatures and convince them to take them down. I'll gladly put up a different picture.
2. Turn off sigs & avatars. Yes, I realize this is a lame suggestion. But this is what's told to anyone who objects to the erotic ladies that seem to be everywhere now.

now, back to why its called protege

I think that's so it can be easily be changed to "slow-teg" or "scrot-eg" (lol2)
