Agr #7, you work with angryman??

yes I do,,he drives a WRX,,,and doesn't (I repeat) doesn't like nascar. He's into cat juggling, and WRC.

yeah just a bunch of revved up rednecks not being able to do donuts in their pickups so they go and drive around a course in a big circle for a couple hours.

speaking of, where's Dale Earnhardt been lately? haven't seen him in awhile

If you want just have him delete the post via the Edit button. It will clear the whole thing off.

Actual something funny related to NASCAR or any other racing.

Why is it there are people who can go around a track at 190, inches from each otherwith no problems. Yet on the street people cant go 40 in a straight line without causing problems?

Hmmm

The man died at Daytona 2 years ago. One of the biggest things that's happened in racing in a long time. Long live the Intimidator.

I enjoy most forms of racing, but F1 cannot be considered racing anymore. 13 cars, the same 2 or 3 people win every race, and only because they are team mates. That's not racing. It's all abou the technology, drivers don't do crap there. Traction control, ABS, every type of monitoring device you can think of. Pretty sad actually. They haven't had a real 'RACE' in F! for many years now.

NASCAR is fun. One of the greatest marketing deals ever put in place. Trust me, they are doing things right. Look at CART and IRL, they're dieing. Too much stupid political BS, and now they both lose.

Sports Car racing is also great, but they are having identity issues. Used to be IMSA, since then they've been through a bunch of names and rule sets. Hopefully they get more stable, cuz I've always wanted to race the prototypes they run. Some of the most beautiful car's you'll ever see.

As for me, I like Dale Jr, Kurt Busch, and "Crusty" Rusty wallace. Nothin wrong with some crazy rednecks gettin' out and havin' a good time! It's all about the party afterwards!

BUDWEISER - We sponsor everything! WOOHOO!

In nascar, they bounce off of each other - part of their little game. In Champ Car or F1, you pull a stunt like that, there's a good chance someone will die.

As a devoted racing fan my entire life, even though Michael Andretti is in the IRL (due to sponsors), I still feel, as does he, that CART is quite simply the most diversified of any racing in the world. They run on Streets, Super Speedways, Natural Terrain Road Courses, and 'Bullrings' (1 mile ovals). Not to mention; a Champ Car will run laps at Fontana Speedway of 240mph. Pretty amazing stuff.

On a side not; there is a good possibility that Mario Andretti may run a CART team in the future as a part of Andretti Green Racing. That would be nice!! (thumb)

you need to check out this year's F1. The rules changes they've made (no full automatic gearbox, no on-the-fly telemetry data, race the car you qualify in) has already made the Australian Grand Prix that took place last month a VERY exciting race.

I can answer that one! Here in Indiana, specifically Carmel, IN, a yuppy northern suburb, a DMV employee got fired for failing too many teenagers on their driving tests. The families complained, and their children were given retests. They had to lower the standards for them because they were 'traumatized' by the previous test, so magically all passed. All it takes is money to get your retarded children behind the wheel of a 3000lb. crosswalk charger.
Sure glad those kids understand that money can't buy everything. :bs: I wanna shoot their parents. Maybe their kids just suck at driving.

A license is a privelage, not a right. Remember that.

Formula 1 is incredible, for sure. It's time they make those changes. I am still picking Michael Schumacher to win his 6th World Championship, no matter what changes are made. He is possilbly the greatest driver ever.

I had the pleasure of attending the U.S. Grand Prix in 2000. Until you see a Formula 1 car run in person, you cannot fully appreciate it. Absolutely the ultimate racing vehicle!

0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds
0-100 mph in 4.7 seconds
0-130-0 in about 7.5 seconds!!!!!!! Yes; it is documented.
Michael Schumaher's F1 Benetton 1995.

oh my god!!! the intimidator died?? how many of you knew about this and didn't say anything. i'm going to go cry now. guess he made a right turn afterall:D

Great! We get to hear "And Mario is slowing down" again in Indy!
Michael is a fool. Can't remember which one it was but in Long Beach a while back there was a car broke coming out of the hairpin. Being the genious Andretti that he was, he disregarded the yellow flags waving in his face and tore around the blind hairpin, conveniently wedging his car under the safety truck. Smooth move dumbass.
I hate the Andrettis. Mario isn't so bad, but Michael is just a whining pussy.

yeah,,and Earnhardt killed himself....so let it go.

F1 Cars are awesome to watch, but it sure would be more fun if they had someone to race against. Multi-million dollar cars, and usually 6 or 7 cars finish. What's that crap about?
As for Dale being gone, is was made a big point last season that the third lap of every race was silent, even on the broadcasts. It was big, and everyone, love him or hate him, was with the program. A man like that, with all the wins, championships, and history was well honored.
On the last lap of the Daytona 500, with his team mates, Michael Waltrip and son Dale Jr. in 1st and 2nd, Dale was holding off a pack of 3 cars when he caught a slight tap going into the corner. He hit the wall head on. It was said that it killed him instantly. Very sad day in auto racing history.
