NASA Midwest?

I'm going to be doing two more NASA Midwest HPDE events. Just wondering if anyone else is going to be there. I'll be at Autobahn in Joliet IL Sept. 11th and at Putnam Oct 8th.

Just added Hawk HP Plus pads with StopTech rotors, braided brake lines and corksport swaybar. All riding on Yokohama S Drive tires.

We shall see how I do! Been a while since I've been on the track. I was really rusty at Gingerman.

A friend of mine will be running his TTD RX-8, I would have been there, but I lost my tranny @ Mid-Ohio last month. Should be back by Putnam Park, in October.

I saw a Red one parked next to us. Don't recall seeing any other. I just booked my Hotel room for Putnam. HPDE 2 now. They kicked me up at Autobahn. Feel free to stop by or meet up. I'm car No. 396 Silver 3. Hanging out with a nice group of people. Wouldn't mind meeting more. (attn)

Great to hear. Looking forward to meeting you some of you. Next year my goal is to hit every event. Not sure if I'll be tracking the car or volunteering to earn track time.

You should come to a Mid-Ohio event, it is a great track and we get a pretty good turn out from the Ohio owners to run HPDE or just to hang out.

Been on that track with my Shelby Cobra replica. I'd like to go again with my Mazda. Do I need to become a member of Great Lakes to run there?

No you do not have to belong to the region. We've run with the SE region and also the Mid-Atlantic regions as well.

I'm not going to make any more events this year but I'm going to start doing NASA events next year because I want to move up the HPDE ladder towards a comp license eventually. Mid-Ohio is awesome and I'll definitely be out there.

Unfortunately I never got to sign up for Putnam Park. I really wanted to but I told myself completing my thesis a week ahead of schedule was better. Damn full-time job plus working toward a masters degree is killing me. Ideally I'll be done right before the beginning of next season. I guess this just gives me more time to finish up the suspension on the RX-7.
