I want to add some daystars or piaas instead of hid's.. im not talented enough to do a retrofit. Also next week I.ll send off my ecu again to dynotronics for the flash as my last attempt was unsuccessful.

Get the Piaa x-treme white bulbs, I have them and I love them. Looks almost like HID and they're on sell at tirerack.com. I have the Corksport LED fog bulbs, I'll post pictures with the Piaa with oem fog bulbs and Piaa with LED fog bulbs soon. Too cold to work on the car

How do you like the dynamat? I've been thinking about putting some around the wheel wells and under the carpet. I'm also looking forward to seeing your lights. I want HID colored lights, but not actual HIDs. I had them in my truck and they were downright dangerous...and I couldn't use my radio when they were on (uhm)

I'm curious about the dynamat as well... Did doing the doors make a big difference?

I'd love to reduce the road noise/tire noise. I'm just not sure what to target first. I'd also like to reduce the interior exhaust sound a bit (CS Exhaust). Not loud, but I want to tone it back a bit further if I can. I considered putting some under the floor panel of the hatch/trunk space above the spare tire...

The dynamat made the speakers sound more solid... less hollow. I paid $ 50 for the roll at bestbuy.. tho they price matched amazons price. The added weight was nothing to stress over or be concerned about. I only did the doors tho. I would love to do the entire floor but then the weight would be significant. I mainly did it for my jl audio speakers and whatever noise reduction from the road was just bonus. But to be honest.. its still loud inside with the road and exhaust. I just crank up the radio. I suggest it if u are upgrading your sound system or going all out and dynamating the entire floor too. But just doing the doors will not eliminate road noise.

Springs settled..

I was just perusing the thread. Curious what happened to your mud flaps? Did you just decide you didn't like them? I was just thinking about getting some, but definitely not worth $130 for a set from the dealership for me. But if you didn't like the kind you got, then maybe I'll forgo and put my meager money elsewhere.

Finally got my ecu back and car is running great.. i posted a review in dynotronics thread...

I finally got my ecu back!!! tuned by dynotronics and was the pain and suffering i went through worth it? Yes. The feeling of the tune is not what i expected. I expected to feel more torque and more horsepower.. What the tune gave my 2 was quicker response and it feels lighter. Its hard for me to explain but the 2 feels lighter. It doesn't feel bogged down.. there is no strain as the rpm's climb... it just goes. So it must have gained some torque and hp if i feel the car lighter. If i had to guess, it would maybe be between 3-8 hp, but something else in the mapping is different too. Not sure if its the timing or a/f mixture but the car feels like it just drank a red bull. This is the best way for me to explain it. I have no dyno numbers or anything, just experience. As far as MPG... I can say that i've driven it on the freeway roundtrip about 27 miles and was able to keep it between 60 and 70 and was averaging 36 mpg when i got home. Don't know what else you guys want to know, just thought i'd share.

Is it just a stock tune or did you do data logging before you sent it in?

So I ordered the sexy jdm window visors.. but when I opened the box it was a Matsu front tower bar. I was planning on ordering the corksport one because of my rear underbrace (which also just came in) but I guess I.ll ise the matsu one instead. It is sexier but I was going corkspoet all the way. Should I keep it? Or send it back for the jdm visors and stay corksport. As of now I.m keeping it.
