I mean I really dont..It only has like 30 thousand on it TOPS...

I pretty much know what it is from though..
Two years ago I broke the axle on that side. When replaced the mechanics working ont he car did not put any grease on the pin that comes up from the lower control arm and goes into the steering knuckle. This became a very big problem when Nick and I were switching out my clutch at MPI. We could not get this pin out to remove the axle. We tried and tried and we couldnt get it to budge. I was hanging off the end of a 6 foot pry bar while the car was on the lift..It was ridiculous...After about 2 hours we finally seperated the pieces of metal enough so the pin would drop out. I am thinking the stress from that whole ordeal played a major role in weakening this part. Nothing we could have done though, if I knew this would have been the case I would have replaced the steering knuckle then. I should make a post about that warning some people...

The more I think about it, the more I'm realizing how bad this could have been. If I was going over 20 miles an hour I would have instantly flipped the car over the drivers side w/out a seatbelt. Yea.


If you have trouble seperating the lower control arm from the steering knuckle when removing an axle, BEAT THE KNUCKLE TO s*** UNTIL YOU CAN GET THE CONTROL ARM DOWN, AND JUST REPLACE THE KNUCKLE. hahah Seriously tho be safe....

thanks man....You KNOW I got your back with the FMIC...just let me know when you get it in I'll be back on Saturday...Im drivin back but with my roomates car, soo wont really have that..I was plannin on usin allies dad and havin him do the fender and hood together, just depends on when I find a fender.

yea...it was align tow part and labor....i didnt think it was too bad either, especially since i got my car back the next day..
