My Turbo Project

in case you wanted to see the damage. i have the list of prices of everything i bought. ouch.

Well I look at it this way: It's cheaper than a new car, and it'll be fun to see how much difference the turbo makes. On Kevin's MP3 at even 4.126884(lol) psi, the turbo made a huge difference over n/a.

damn screwthat... but then agian ill be droping 3k on my engine build, plus a ems setup
but that includes clutch, flywheel, LSD, EMS, gauges, SBC, thermal spacers, single runner intake manifold. If i just did straight turbo stuff it would have been cheaper, but I wanted to make sure I did everything right the first time, and not have to fix things later on.

heh.. I got the last pieces to his turbo kit last night...
so I'll be boosting 4.126884psi.. as soon as I get a new clutch.

Believe me you will love it, I would crank the boost a little though. I ran 9-10 psi on my msp. Some believe that may be pushing the limits of the stock fs-de rods, though.

I'll be happy at 5-6psi... or until I become a boost addict

Defi gauges came in. Man, they look good. The LSD comes in tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the flywheel, clutch, and LSD installed and broken in before the next autocross.

Let me know how that goes Luke..
I should be getting/installing my spec stage-III this weekend.

lightweight flywheel and lsd will happen next summer for me.

Yep, but I'm in debt for the new clutch... so I'll be waiting the old fashion way for the engine/turbo to cool down. I'm definitely interested in getting yours but I won't have cash for it for awhile.
Next will be spark plugs, fuel pump, bung weld, turbo install party.

looks like my LSD, clutch, and flywheel will be going in this weekend. I have a stack of parts just sitting in the dining room area. I also sent out my gauge bezel to get a gauge hole put in on the right side for the wide band.

Other parts I've picked up: dual gauge pod for the radio din, Apex radiator shroud, 440cc WRX injectors, DG CF engine cover, MSMiata steering wheel, Mazdaspeed oil catch can (Ebay), MSP radiator/AC condensor

Cool! I'm glad you found someone to help install the diff.
