My Rep Points

well, just got home from midnight mayhem, some pretty sweet rides out tonight and some funny as s*** stuff as well. The rookies that don't know how to stage, speaking of idiots, my nieghbor with his riced out Honda just got home reving it up, his 18 second honda...hahaha. Anyway, it was fun, thanks to all for the rep points yesterday, today is a new day, let's keep it going..haha

Any plans after UNLV?

I'm going to be stuck in the library from 8am to 12am everyday until the step 1 boards (june 8-9), then afterwards I gotta retake endocrinology (failed it during school). Then aright afterwards, I'll start my family prac rotations ^^.

I actually got a job as a GIS Tech already and finishing up my school now. So I guess my plans for after college are pretty much already in the works. GIS Tech and some Mortgage Broker stuff on the side for now.

Mortgage Brokers make decent money average of $3000 on up for a loan so I'm hoping to make some better money once I finish up school and have a bit more free time after my current job to close some deals. Insurance at my current job is to good to give up considering I have a family and a little one on the way (#3 for our family). I'm starting my own clan...

I'm at the point where I realize I need to buckle down and start thinking of starting a family. However with my career, it'll probably take 5 more years before I'm actually financial stable enough.

Yeah, i feel you on the age thing. I'm 30 turning 31 this summer and a family right now is just about right timing. My career here at the Water District in Las Vegas is pretty much set as of right now (i plan on staying 20+ years to get my pension) but I will work as a mortgage broker on the side as well. I know how hard it is to juggle a full time job, work, family and school. It's hard you just have to find the time for everything, and sometimes you can't and something has to be sacrificed, usually sleep.

I find 5 hours of sleep is usually enough ^_^. Luckly I'm only 25, so if my plan works out correctly, I should be ready in 5 years. By the time I get out of med school, I'll have a $230k dept to pay off...

wow, that's a bit of money but I think that's about normal for Dr.'s though right???

Anyway, 5 hours is fine, while I was serving 5 years as a Marine I think I averaged 5 hours a night and I was fine. I continue that same patter now, going to be around 1 a.m. and getting up at 6 for work. You just have to get used to it...

BUMP FOR REP POINTS FOR ME :)

yeah, i saw that, thanks. I just gave you one for that. I just wasnt sure if you could check for old ones cuz i have like 10 rep points.
