nice setup. i've actually been thinking about this dvr for about a month but held off... waiting for the version 2.

over at the homelink thread in these forums, Jwlj posted a link to the pdf manual where shows how to take apart the A pillar for a cleaner install.

I did run the wire through the rear view mirror's wire cover, it's very simple to slide down and pop off but didn't want to get involved with the A-Pillar, etc. due to my inexperience with such things. Good link though.

I should take a moment to mention some Cons to the BlackVue. I don't think even the HD of it records license plates very well unless you're maybe 30 feet to the other vehicle. The HD is certainly better than other cams out there.
You should put a black rubber matte on the dash to reduce any reflections of the dash back onto the windshield.
