well the car was traded in bout 3 weeks ago in Jeff's D'ambrosio... so quickly went out and took a test drive... the next dealership is in Wayne NJ, they have a yellow one there...but im tryin to avoid traveling sooo far for a newer car...msp said:

Well i got more pics of my car from autotrader...the same exact car... i jus don't like that stain on the front seat... the rest is all perfect... ima jus get that stain out soon...
o boy, i can't wait til tuesday...
Edit: that black spot on the hood is jus the picture... its not really on the car... i dunno why that black spot came up... but its not there really...

its only 5 mins from my current dealer and they have it for 3k less... ima see if my current dealership will price match this cuz they are seriously gonna lose a 15k loan check if they don't reconsider...

hmm first msp i see with black gauges.
no warrenty? what are you talking about? warrenties are offered through MAZDA and all mazdaspeeds under 50k miles have a warrenty. i serisouly hope you are not falling for "if you buy it from us we give you an extended warrenty" crap. how many miles did you say the orange one had? this one has only 15k!!!!!!!!
First off, grats on (potentially) getting a MSP. I love mine and I'm sure you'll love yours too. You seem to have the right attitude about taking care of it.
That said, be VERY careful with this one. As others have said, 18K is WAY too much. Mine was 16K w/ 22k miles (before I talked them down even farther) and 100% stock. Just from the pics you've posted, I can see a few things reducing its value: intake, boost gauge, and possibly a swapped gauge cluster (it should either be white or silver, not black).
There's no telling what else the previous owner did to that car.
They may have removed "fun" things like a boost controller, nitrous (unlikely but possible), or an improperly installed BOV before trading it in. For all you know, they really abused the hell out of it. If it was me, I'd stay FAR away from this car no matter how perfect it seems now. It may well bite you in the ass later.

40k miles @ $18,000 or 15k miles at $14,000 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............yeah lets think about this.
when i get home (if i remember) ill take a pic of my boost controller and where the hose is and what the stock one looks like. you can pop the hood and check the hose and you should know wether or not the hose is stock (its hard to copy the way mazda did it). if it has a different hose on it you can bet that there used to be a boost controller on it. then you never know how much it once boosted.Boricua86 said:

and DONT be afraid to just walk out of the dealership. i know it may be hard to say "well ill think about it" and leave but i PROMISE they will call you within an hour with a lower price. they did it for me when i almost bought a titanium msp. lowered it from $16k (12,500 mile car with $3k in mods done) down to $14.5K. I walked out and they called me back offering me $14k for it. but i had to have blue so i flew across country to get it.Boricua86 said:
