My New Car...

Oh yeah, sorry to say this, but I know.... what each individual shop will or wont fix .....it's more of a personal choice for them.... if they want to, they'll cover it.... if they don't, they won't.... and that's the way mazda/ford/mercury/lincoln automotive shops are. They say mazda makes up the rules, but they can do whatever they want, in accordance with the dealership pwner.

I've seen them fix and repair s*** thats not covered under warranty for some... (kissass)
and also seen them not cover s*** for people who they thought were dicks...
like cold air intakes on mazda 6s .... they'll just tell them, "all that extra air blew the engine" they push the car out of the shop, into the lot, and the car pwner decides who to pay first...

And rx-8s, forgetaboutit...

the car business is sleazy, go hybrid! (lol2) I just saw a show about the old plymouth turbine car, it was a good show (braindead

thats why i'll put a lawyer... its not my fault that someone changed the cluster... so i'll win that s*** automatically...
you WILL NOT WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE NOT getting the warranty. THE CAR IS getting the warranty. if the car was EEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR modified then they will void the warranty. they dont give a s*** how YOU bought it. they are not warranting the car to the condition that YOU bought it in, its warrantied to the condition the car was sold to WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNER!!!!!!!!!!!! you have no warranty with that car. youi CANT BUY A warranty with that car. if you bought the warranty, your wasting your money because they WILL NOT DO WARRANTY WORK TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (rant)

wow, if you buy this car you must be mildly retarded. Listen to these people.....

Mazda dealerships get off on selling you the extended warranty, they laugh about it..... and they get types of bonuses for selling them. (rei)

what does the MP3 or MSP top out at? I've done 120...Its scary fun but i dont have enough room to test it out

Ok, I'm saying a little more and unsubscribing because this guy apparently really wants to be screwed and the whole situation irritates me.

1. I'm pretty sure odometer tampering (swapping gauge clusters in this case) is illegal in some states. Check on that. Do not buy this car.
2. Aftermarket extended warranty companies look for excuses to void you. Even if Mazda warrants you with an intake, an extended warranty is MUCH EASIER TO VOID. The aftermarket companies frequently go to the service center and inspect the car and will VOID AND DENY YOU for "small" things like intakes. I learned this the hard way on another car of mine. Do not buy this car.

I'm unsubscribing now. I just can't even watch this any more.

I took mine to 135 or so, I let off the gas when the govenor shut down power.

This was at 8psi, at stock boost it felt like an eternity to hit 125

no on the mp3 it was an eternity. on my speed at 11psi it was no time at all.

I know, it's amazing what a couple of psi increase does!

Taking so long is pretty nerve racking (five-0) (five-0) ya, know what I mean...

sorry to read about your car, glad no one was hurt though.

The Closer the tip of the Orange thing that moves Clockwire gets to the red shaded area, the better chance you have of blowing a motor...

Boricua86,

Don't listen to all these experts... I think you should get the car. If you think it's a good deal that they're offering, then I say Go for it. When I worked at a car dealership, it was intrinsicly tought, "The best deal is when the customer walks away happy." If that means that you're paying $5000.00 more than you should, then so be it. I'm not that good with math, but if you're at $359.00 a month, for, I'm going to go on a limb here... 84 months, at 12.9-first-time-buyer-%, and that can fit in your budget, absolutely do it. And, if they can fit that extended warranty in there, sweet! Bonus for you, even if it's only a few thousand more than the $18000.00, that's not so bad. If you figure the extended warranty is $2000.00, then that brings the total to 20k, before taxes, tags, etc. Heck that's still $1000.00 less than the sticker price THREE F$%@@^% YEARS AGO!!!!! So a few things were changed by the previous owner, I mean, hey, I've moddified some of the things in my car, who hasn't? Big deal!!! Not to mention, atleast a dealership can offer some sort of financing option. I know I didn't (and still don't) have $15,000.00 laying around ready to buy a new car. It's tough to drop that kind of money in one shot for a car that is being sold through the forum here. And now, at the end, you're happy, I know the dealer's happy, and at 12.9% for 84 months, I KNOW THE BANK'S HAPPY!!!
Or, instead, you could heed the warnings, get an auto finance company (capital one???) to front the $15,000.00, buy the one for $14,000.00 spend the extra $1,000.00 on the exhaust you wanted, and split the other SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS BETWEEN US 45 MEMBERS THAT HAVE TOLD YOU TO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!!!!!!!

I expect my check of $133.34 U.S. Dollars by the 23rd of September, 2005.

That was awesome.

iight... im not buying the car... ima ask why they tampered the cluster, and why they are selling a car with only a 3 month dealership warranty... till then i won't buy it...

everyone happy???

cuz the mileage seems very accurate, the car drove very well, turbo kicked on time, radio works, no bad history on records...etc etc etc... all of these excuses should make them lower the price alot because that is bulls*** that they swapped the cluster and didn't even notify the dealership that they did that...

All i need is a nice big pic wit the mazdaspeed cluster... i'll print it out and show them... i also need proof that only 2000 of them were made and only that kind of cluster was made for them... so they won't say that it was jus a different model car... anything else i need??? if so, jus hit me up here....
