I'm sure it's nice to not have the feeling it's going to explode at any given time too!
Huge relief, lol. Seeing as how my protege is on its 3rd motor and 2nd transmission.(hand)

Got it about 3 weeks ago. Absolutely love it.

very nice ride bud!! congrats.. is the gt with the v8?
Yes the GT has the 361HP 6.0l L76 (very similar to the LS2) and the GXP has the 415HP 6.2l LS3.
wow thats badass!! whats that baby run in the 1/4?
Is that transmission a double clutch semi-manual or does it still have a torque converter?
. I just don't like the interior build quality too much.
This and the gas mileage kept me from getting this car. The exterior look is pure sex and the engine pickup is great, but the interior quality and gas mileage were the two biggest reasons why I didn't pull the trigger. When I see them on the road I want to look past it's flaws and get me one.
15mpg city / 24 mpg hwy, Although I've been able to get 26-27 mpg babying it on the way to work. DoD ftw!whats the mpg?
Yea it's not really bad for a 6.1L V8 Bimmer beater though...I think great pickup is an understatement. There's only one spot, well two, that really annoy me on any car. One on the G8 is the opposite side from the emergency brake there's just a plastic "oh s***!" handle and if you push/pull on it even gently then it moves a lot. Then when you close the doors the panels pull away from the metal of the door. Other than that, build quality is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
