Word, at work I have one pair of shoes that will cause a TERRIFIC jolt when I touch the elevator button. Also, when I am moving some PC's around on a metal, multilayered cart I can touch someone next to me and they get a nice shock.SpeedBeaver said:It sounds stupid but try it after changing shoes... sometimes it's the components of the shoes (plastic or other stuff) that accumulates the static charge... happens to me all the time in winter when I'm wearing my heavy boots. (big plastic sole)
