Yea it's mostly the same cars just done up different. I like seeing when they have the Datsuns and rarer cars done up.

haha thanks guys. there is actually a magazine i picked up a year or two ago that was nothing but mazda's, i forget what it was called, but it had a huge 10 page spread dedicated to MSP/MP3s...it was sick.

^^Are u refering about MazdaSport? I remember emailing them about more issues. But they renamed the magazine to Rotary something.

We need more innovative builds from the Protege community to get noticed by magazines. The MSP is basically a has been platform to people outside this forum. Civics fell off but gained steam back when people were doing tucks like these and you can see the work that was put into the build.

D-sport is featuring a Mazdaspeed3 project build up. Then again because it comes with a more respectable starting hp point and is probably the only performance oriented FWD import available to purchase new.

fwiw, you there's a card inside the magazines, to order a year's subscriptions to superstreet and modified for $20, or superstreet and import tuner for $15. pretty sweet deal! for those of us who're sick of seeing hondas, grassroot motorsports is THE magazine to get. none of the hype and fluff, and tons of old-school mods.

i think most of them run under and behind the block but i dont think they have as many as us to start out with either

They deleted all the accessories, so its not a very streetable car. Those magazines are only going to feature cars with well executed builds. If you want a DIY mag, Project Car Mag would fit the bill but they feature more popular tuner cars.

I went back through my mags & remembered that this spicy made it on the front cover of modified mag back in may 2005! So I guess there is still hope for us!!!

that is what i want my miata engine bay to look like, after this winter. nothing unnecessary, and really clean

saw the magazine at Barnes and nobles yesterday. Pretty cool seeing Justin's car in the magazine. If u scan the page u can pretty much identify all the cars but the msp. Unless u know what it is its hard to guess.
