well when I have a party, I'll be a dickhead. I leave the door LOCKED, and it's only people I know.... if someone I don't know shows up I'll kindly tell them

"I'm sorry but since I have angora-rancid-phobia.....which is a fear of strangers in my home.... I cannot allow you inside" ;)

I don't care how pissed another person I "know" says that it's their friend...... if I don't know that person, they're not setting foot inside my home... I rarely throw parties anymore any way because people are never ready to leave when I'm ready for them to leave........ i.e. I want to go to fking sleep, haha.

+1 again..."angora-rancid-phobia...."LMAO!!!!!!!

I'd have said: "Me?...do I have any updates?...Aren't you the police?" Ok, I wouldn't have said that, but I'd have really wanted to!

Sorry to hear, but as stated earlier, best case is probably not to get it back. That way you should be able to get another one.

Oh...I did say that. (As nicely as I could...not good to make them mad.) Anyway, they said they recover 82% of the stolen vehicles reported. I am hoping I am one of the 18%.

That sucks dude. I've had two of my cars stolen and both were recovered. The one they took for a joy ride for about 250mi but only ended up about 8mi from my apartment. The other one was going to be parted for sure since it wasn't running at the time and they had to push it to where we found it 2hrs after it was found missing.

This really sucks brother. Personally, I think your mutual "friend" is suspect and needs a "talking to."

I agree...I haven't ruled that option out. I also have to consider how that might help or hurt the situation though...

if you have money......... hire a PI to tail him ;)

My buddy is a PI, he gets somethings done that cops can't seem to do..... has to do with outsourcing and get gets PAID to tail someone......cops don't outsource like that.

I live in Northern VA and drive a lot in DC and central Virginia. Which bumper is damaged on your car? I can keep an eye out for a damaged, red MS3. Also, if you have a receipt or pix of your CAI installed you should be able to get reimbursed.

This is impossible. The thief doesn't sound like a professional, and he seems pretty irresponsible.

There's no way he hasn't been seen or identified. There is no way the car hasn't been spotted or stopped, etc.

Pretty sure the car's tag is under notice if it's been stopped a cop would run the license plate # and pull up the APB that it's stolen.......

not to mention the registration for the car isn't going to be the same name as the dude driving it?

I think the dude probably stole it and took it to a chop shop for money..... They're not too hard to know their locations, and if he had the balls to steal the car he might actually know where to take it

Unless he's just a moron trying to hide the car in a garage hoping everything "dies down"

Which is why I think that "friend" of the OPs he came with is called for "updates" to see if the cops are going to catch him or not. If I lived up north around them I'd be tailing that "friend" of the OPs and kicking the s*** out of anyone with a red ms3 with a screwed up front end.... (lol2)

i can guarantee he is not driving it.....like i said before he is probably going to part the car out and probably throw the godly motor into a piece of s*** hatch civic and run 11's

Hey camrycev6, has the said named person that brought his friend even been questioned by the police or by the investigator assigned to your case? Surely this can't be reported to the police and insurance and that's it. Just to let you know I'm still following this and for me, it's a no brainer the guy that brought his friend knows his name, were he lives and yet alone contact phone numbers.

Hello all,

Well as of this Friday it will be 30 days since my MS3 was stolen. During this time I have been doing a lot of research and when I considered price, style, performance, and practicality, I came up with the MS3 again! The 335xi was too much money, the Charger SRT8 wasn't really good for the winter, and the Caliber SRT just doesn't look as good as I hoped.

That said...I ordered my new MS3 - sport yesterday (I looked at several GTs and even with a second chance to buy one, I don't think they are worth the extra bucks), and it will be ready on Friday. (How is that for service?) I am getting the MS CAI right out of the gates as well as the iPod adapter "kit" this time.
