My MS3 was stolen on Friday!!

Actually they give you cash value, but its not what most would think. It's higher than say Kelly Blue Book. Also you do get taxes back. They are supposed to take a look at the make model etc. value that plus tax, tag and title fee's. Trust me, I just had a car that was a total loss about three months ago and I thought I was going to be screwed, but all worked out well. If you want more information PM me. You'll be fine however, they should have discussed it with you in detail when you called to report your car stolen. If they didn't, I'd call them back and ask them to explain the process. 99.9% of insurance companies wait a minimum of 30 days before they start the paperwork to pay for the car. It's a hope that the car is found or recovered so they don't have to pay that much out unless its recovered stripped/chopped up etc.

So if my Mustang was stolen or written off in an accident, I would receive close to $40k. And before you say I got ripped off on my car, remember thats in Canadian dollars. Cars are expensive here. The MS3 stickers for $31,500 or so here.

I've realized something after reading most the thread.
The guy who brought that "friend" with him, but doesn't really know him.......is lying.
Who brings a "friend" they don't really know to a party? RIIIIIGHT
Also you said he's been trying to locate him, but calling you for updates? It almost seems like he's trying to find out what kind of info the cops are finding for you to see whether or not they're close to finding his friend, so they can relocate and/or ditch the car..
if he calls and asks for any updates.... tell him nothing....
and for future reference just keep your keys in your pocket dude....
Whenever I have parties I lock all the bedroom doors and nothing important is in the living room or kitchen.... the only door that remains unlocked is the bathroom

well when I have a party, I'll be a dickhead. I leave the door LOCKED, and it's only people I know.... if someone I don't know shows up I'll kindly tell them

I don't care how pissed another person I "know" says that it's their friend...... if I don't know that person, they're not setting foot inside my home... I rarely throw parties anymore any way because people are never ready to leave when I'm ready for them to leave........ i.e. I want to go to fking sleep, haha.
