What was the build date of your car? Might give us a clue as to when the bad fuel pumps were made.

Should be inside the driver door panel if I assume correctly. A little sticker.

I had my fuel pump replaced under warranty on my ford focus 2000 in 2003. They had a recall on that. It was a good thing because it cost close to 800$cdn. They even extended the warranty to 10 years if I recall. The fuel pump was in the gas tank. I hope we didn't get the same kind of fuel pump. Lol
