My First Mazda

I joined these forums a couple weeks ago when I first bought my Protege5 but refrained from introducing myself until I had a proper picture.

It's a bone stock '03 5spd, 86K with all the options I'd want minus floor mats. I finally tracked down a factory set on Thursday though. Locally owned since new with a clean Carfax report. 5 months of searching for a new car finally paid off. So far I love it.

It's so clean, I was practically sold the moment I saw it. Once nothing weird happened during the test drive, I knew I couldn't pass it up.

Cool. You're actually not that far from me. I live in Denton right now as I go to skool. I honestly won't be modding the P5 though. I might mess with the lights and stuff but that's about it....no money and the money I do get goes toward my Z28.

I'll have to make it out to one of those meets sometime though. I may get some ideas.

As nice as it would look and handle, lowering it wouldn't make sense for me. This car is gonna see a lot of city streets and will probably go to the mountains for hiking and snowboarding at least a couple times a year. I need all the ground clearance I've got.
