my car is making noises again...

I actually was seriously pondering an older body-style 1.8t but the seats were like rocks, suspension sucks, and the interior just looked tacky to me. But, to each his/her own. I had a 96 jetta and thought it was comfortable until I test drove the MSP.
Wow! I was sold within the first block.

-Good luck with the decision, regardless.

making me sick... seriously.... if it happens at 45.8 deg. celcious at an upward bannking of 15.2 deg followed by an rpm range of 2300-2791 only and half throttle... than damn.... quit putting all the variables together... drive you car on the road... im just getting at the fact that this problem for you at least only occurs under such sprecific events or situations.

VW make me sick.... not cuz they suck. but cuz of the type of people i have met who drive them....

The noise happens when we go over any bump at any angle and also when we turn left...so i guess you're telling me to always go straight? or make a right? ha..no...

Now, my question is, if we take it to the dealer because of the suspension, will they give me s*** because of the downpipe?

Ash or Dimas,
Does this happen when its cold... if so it may be the struts. Dumb response, I know , but don't disregard it. Dude don't trade it in on a damn v-dub. Honestly, you'll be downgrading when you consider all of the sh** our cars come w/ stock. My next question is: Did you guys hit anything or bump anything to screw up the alignment? I hit my e-brake around turns all the damn time to get sideways... and consequently I'm constantly getting wheel balances & alignments. I have off on friday. PM me and maybe we could meet and hang out, I'm curious to hear the noise. Peace.

actually our MSPs have EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution) so when the sensors in the abs detects a raised wheel usually it is most effective at the track to stabilize the car under extreme braking manuevers. I work for nissan and our Z cars have the same sound at weird angle braking

is the car lowered, sorry if this is a stupid question but i had the problem when i first lowered my car, i jacked it up, took a can of WD-40 and spreyed down my whole suspension (of corse not the brake rotors, if that's what the problem is.) and it went away.

If the noise sounds kind of like a electric motor weezing or straining and your running aftermarket tranny fluid that might be your problem. I was running amsoil for a while until this sound started in parking lots making 90 degree slow turns and such. Went back to stock and the noise went away. I know you don't want to dump 20 or 30 bucks worth of good fluid, but for me it was worth saving the hassle of a dealer and trying to explain the sound to numbnuts.

Good luck on getting thiw fixed for good. I foundthat lubrication and more lubrication makes my MSP noises go away for a couple weeks. Is it the 'crunching sound' in the front you hear or kinda a 'rattle clunk'. I've had the 'crunch, got the new bushing...now I've got the 'rattle clunk' up front. But feel luck that you also don't have the squeek in the rear. I'm still dealing with that annoyance. Enjoy...

no silvernitrate/astrasioswhatever isn't lowered. you guys cant trade in the speed over a noise. remind me next time i see you guys to demonstrate all the HORRIBLE noises my mp3 makes. Its unbelievable. But I still love the car! I just invested in louder speakers so I dont hear it anymore!

You spelled the hard part wrong, and the easy part you didn't attempt...LMAO

But Dimas is really picky about s***, I mean, we'll be listenin to a really good song, and he'll turn it down for like 2 minutes if he THINKS he hears a noise..

I'll bet that's it!!

The few times I have heard it I was going a little to fast and had to break on the incline.

my car does the same thing! if I go into any form of incline and I hit the brakes I get this amazing fluttering sound (BUM,BUM,BUM,SHUD,SHUD,SHUD!!!) and the brake pedal dances up and down a little bit like crazy at mach 4 and my steeringwheel thinks it becomes a special device in a porno ... kind of embarrasing! use to do it everytime I pulled into the daycare and they would all look at me weird...

Yes, I've heard the 'turn up the radio' bit mentioned sooo many times. IMHO thats BS.
My radio IS way up, and I still hear that SH*t.

And so far...No Mazda wont buy back the car over a squeek, I know I've tried.

I'll just get to spend some more time with my friends at the Mazda Dealer.

Maybe you have super sonic hearing...see I'm partially deaf, and it works great :)

I get this same noise going into my driveway fast at an angle, which is also a slight down ramp. It is a grinding crunching noise. I thought I was hitting something at first on the underbody, but after looking around underneath the car, I figured that wasn't it. Not knowing the problem I just learned to go slow and as straight as possible. Haven't heard the noise in a long time but I could probably reproduce it whenever I want. Just go fast at an angle down the ramp.

IT's your bushings i had both my rears and fronts replaced twice already and its getting old. now comes my struts my car rides like ass and too rough that i can feel the whole shock to the wheel.

Why do I have to defend myself. How doe you know about my hearing.

And why do you F-ing care. Are you the idiot engineer who designed this. Why oh why do people on this board defend Mazda like it's their mother.

Get it through your head...MAZDA doesn't like, care, have interest in you. They want to make a buck, show their investors that they met their margins...and that's it. Their customer service runs like this. If we are not legally bound than F YOU. And I say the same to you who makes me defend my HEARING...too funny.
