Mugen Si and SC'ed Corolla XRS

Yeah. Im close friends w/the sales mgr at the dealership. He calls me whenever they get stuff like this in and lets me take it for a few hrs to do whatever.

We shot some vids of us racing the two cars, showed them to the sales mgr and the general mgr. LOL

When they Corolla owner was getting married I took him down there to test drive the 07 Si when they 1st came out bc he is a huge Honda lover. He's owned 2 2000 Si's and a 91 Lude Si as well as a CRX w/a b16a swap. He knows Hondas like the back of his hand. So as a "gift" I took him down to drive that for a few hrs. After the Si we took an S2000 out for a spin.

I want to drive the new 08 Accord coupe.

I can say that the seats in the mugen are snug and feel good to sit in.

Are they 30 grand good? Cuz honestly unless the thing is pushing some serious power (which it isn't) then 30 grand is just a waste.

Sounds sweet! (mj)

Yeah, I was wondering about the new Accord. It looks pretty sweet.

It looks like the Corrola got beat at the factory with the ugly stick. It might be fast, but eeeewwwwww it's ugly.

I saw these on 9thgen last night but they're still sweet! The S/C XRS is straight nasty. I think he's putting, 290 to the wheels don't quote me on that though

I think he's putting down around 225-230 I think. He still needs to install the ECu and get it tuned. Its a little rich right now. The body is slowly growing on me. I don't like the lower part of the rear bumper but he has it extremely clean.

The corolla is nothing to look at. But its nice stealthy transportation with good build quality. I like that he kept the sleeper look and didn't "rice it up" But that rolla has it where it counts. Under the Hood! The man has his priorities right.

Ugly tacky Vinyls, wings and stickers: Not important!

225-230 to the wheels: VERY important! :)

Good for him!

Wouldn't have either one personally, but to each his own. Sleeper Toyota is cool, but I still wouldn't want it. And you'd have to be on glue to pay that much for the Civic - again imo. Sooo many other choices first.

I just want to see some pics of the engine bay of the rolla. I used to have a corolla s. However, I traded it in for the msp, it was a nice swap.

I meant to get pics of the engine bay of the rolla but we were running out of time. He has to get it to the dyno to tune the ECU so I'll get pics and vids of that up whenever that happens.

Ya'll wanna see the Rolla walk the Si? I'll post some vids up tonight when I get home.

Here you go....

Thats a sweet brace but it would suck having to take it off all the time anytime you wanted to do anything.

He'd be glad to hear you say that Sveivo. He likes the car but doesn't love it like he did his Hondas. He's not terribly excited about the looks of the car but like me its growing on him.

Here I am getting motorboated by the rolla.............
