Muffler Delete

Researched for awhile looking to see if someone made a bolt on kit for us...only thing I found was for an existing aftermarket exhaust....this it was cpe? For an option on rear muffs...I did my own, and was thinking about making a few kits....but Not really sure. Love the sound with it, not loud, not raspy at all....very smooth and on long drives it doesn't bother me at all...I can get better pics later, just kinda messing around now.
Using the factory flanges on the stock mufflers, I created a "axle back" system with 2.5inch. Wrapped it up, and reused the factory hanger points and rubber mounts.

the wrap is unnecessary. i had this exact set up with no heat related problems.

Most likely yes, but I had it already and aesthetically I wanted it over the raw pipe (I'm under it a lot).
Write up? Never really done one....
1. Remove mufflers from flanges using a 14mm socket/ratchet/wrench/impact.
2. Lube up rubber hangers and using a small pry bar or large flat srewdriver remove the hangers from the isolators.
3. Using a chop saw carefully remove the flange from the factory mufflers.
4. Take to your favorite exhaust shop, or exhaust friend in my case and have him reconstruct an "axle back" using the flanges. In this case, 2.5inch piping and a mandrel bender. Getting the bends right was kinda tricky..not gonna lie as you can see, the pipe comes away from the T pipe, and makes an upward bend to a 45ish bend. Took a little work....
Other then that....not a lot to it. I can get better pics, these were kinda on the fly. Fitment is great thanks to an awesome friend, from the back of the car you just see the 2.5 pipe in the "faux" tips. I did wrap it, not needed Im sure but oh well...

Do you have a test pipe? Or is this with just the mufflers chopped off. Im looking into doing the same, but i have a SU test pipe, and im worried it will be much louder

i have a test pipe with a cpe 3" single. it came with the straight tail pipe, loud as fugg, i have since then added a glasspack... someone is selling a cpe resonator tail secton, i want it since mine is now a hacked peice..

my $0.02

im am getting my videos up right now of a drive off and what not of a cut delete muffler system !!!! I think you will like , the video link will be with youtube give me just a lil bit , they are loading now

The drive away video makes it sound pretty loud, but it sounds good. Wonder if it would sound the same if you removed just the muffler from a speed3...

here ya go , this is what my Exhaust System is set up like and btw its just a little bit quieter then on video...... The reason i didnt just take the mufflers off is because the piping that goes right to the mufflers is really small compared to what i have on there now , you will see what im talking about
