msp's top speed??

In regards to that ground wire cut idea, just put a switched ground in, that way when you want to haul ass you flip the switch to disconnect the ground, then when you your abs and s*** back just flip the switch back.

MSP Top Speed

Hello all, I actually pinned mine at well over 140 mph. The speedometer needle was way past the 140 mark when fuel cut kicked in. I would say I was doing at least 150 or so and still had more pedal left. Of course this was after I had the ECU flashed at Mazda N.A. . Without a governor, I believe that this car could easily do 160 or better considering the power to weight ratio.(glare) (first)

unless you have at least $20K into engine/transmission modifications on your car, I doubt it.. just because of the fact that you'd be pushing 8-9K rpms.

edit: and because of the aerodynamics of the car.. it already produces alot of drag

edit2: damnit adikt! you beat me. :p

and the way the air moves over the car...it produces a lot of drag.
