MSP radio removal

yup it needs a good tug, the whole process is a lil strange the first time around but once you get it its very easy to do again. i just removed the glove box and the under steering column panel to have access to both sides of the radio, i then popped out the lower pocket one side at a time... this gave me the leverage to remove the decks lil surround. i then jammed two butter knives into each side of the radio all the way to the end and then reached from underneath (where the pocket used to be) and pulled. it look more force than i thought but the deck popped out and one of the knives when flyin (wow) out too. then it was easy to unhook the deck. all alot easier than i thought it would be, good luck

I took off the glovebox and it turns out my radio was screwed in (1 screw on the right, and 2 on the left). Tomorrow I think I'll try to take off the center console or that little black box so that I can just plug the audio-in wire in without taking out the radio. Any recomendations on how this is best done?

no your deck is NOT screwed it... the bracket it sits in is. all you want to do is slide the deck out of the bracket
