MSP owners in NJ

Just curious, where did you buy your car, how much was it, and how would you say the service at the dealership was?

Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

Bought at Crystal (talk to Oscar, he's great), discounted due to some hail damage so it's not a comparable price. Crystal service was great, Grecco service (closer to my house) was not as good, minimal parts in stock and minimal knowledge of the MSP, and kinda slow, but they at least try to be helpful and do communicate well. They're a Mazda/Loncoln/Mercury dealership in Denville and are not large so this counts agaionst them. Grecco sales seemed far more old school (this is very not good); I wouldn't want to have to negotiate with them. My wife and I also bought from Wayne Mazda (our MPV ES/GTI) and were pleased, but we are on Mazda's "S" plan so the negotiation was relatively easy and we haven't been there for serivice at all so no comment.

I baught mine from Grecco. I like the service their, but they don't have many parts in stock. They wanted $3000 premium for my MSP cuz it was the second MSP they had. But since my mom baught her 626 from them, I payed sticker for the car.

bought mine from crystal auto on 22 in greenbrook. Paid 20k, - 1500 rebate. dealer didnt get me tne financing he said he could, so he dropped the price another 1500 to make up for the extra interest at the slightly higher rate. out the door, like 18kish, never went back for any service yet, they can stuff there free oil change :D sales guy was awesome there, john pujols, he owns a MSP so he took me out in his while we were waiting for them to prep and do paper work. we had some fun, and he showed me about the car

hey bro, I'm about to call these guys up, if you could let me know your name, so I could use you as a reference, that'd be awesome.

thanks again

Got my Titanium from Sansone on Rt. 1 in Rahway. Paid 20K out the door, with tax, title, and license. They treated me very well...most dealerships give me a hard time because I look much younger than I am (I'm 22, but look about 17).

They only have 1 yellow and 1 silver left. I get $100 to refer people to the dealership...I'll split that 50/50 with you if you buy from them.

lol my dealership has the same thing, like 100 bucks if you refer someone. lol and i have the same problem, look 17, turning 22 on aug 31st :P

Hey at least they let you in :\ I've been kicked outa so many places, they all tell me to take my fake ID somewhere else. I don't bother to argue, if you don't want my business, screw you. Once at stelton liquor's the guy asked for ID, I showed it to him, and he goes I can't sell you liquor, or give this ID back, its fake, and its illegal. Im like WTF asshole, I'm 21, and its not fake, give it back or I'll call the cops. He goes ok fine go ahead, so i proceeded to call the police on my cell phone, they came 20 minutes later, the officer took my ID, went to his car, ran it, and verified it was legit, then the guy looked like a ass, I laughed, he started to ring up the stuff I originally brought to the counter, I just walked away. He goes don't you want your stuff? I just said not anymore, after that stunt. I never go back there anymore. Fucktard of an owner!

I've never had a real huge problem, I've had bartenders/bouncers/liquor store cashiers claim that my ID was fake, and I just maintained my composure, said that it was real and that if they want to call the police for them to run it, then go ahead. Of course, sometimes it's damn near impossible to keep being polite, some people are just assholes about it.

I seem to get it alot, most of time I just have someone else go buy it for me. I don't drink to much though so its not a giant deal for me. Just a minor nuissance, but if nothing else I get some fun storeis outa the deal.

Not to knock this thread back on track or anything, but I went to test drive this car, and it was awesome, as expected.

I was close to sealing the deal, and I checked to see how much my insurance would cost, and it was $3800/yr, on my parents policy, (and they thought it was a normal protege.

So tomorrow I shop for a new policy. Hopefully I can get one before 9/2

Hey I'm new to the forums so I figured this would be a good way to introduce myself. I bought my 2003 black mica mps at east coast toyota/mazda in rutherford for 22,000 including force tracker.

cool

I called him a couple times today but he wasn't there at the time, so I just went in and talked to someone else about it. Didn't get the greatest deal, but it was decent. I would have no qualms about going to your bro if he could hook me up, but I do have to get this insurance thing worked out first.

Yeah, insurance is a b****. I'm 22, with one at-fault accident, and I pay $4600/yr with Liberty Mutual for full coverage (100/300/50, $500 deductibles for collision/comp) on my own policy. It would have been around half that if I would have stayed on my parent's policy, but for that to work, my father would have to had bought the car. The treat of having my own name on the registration & insurance, as well as the good credit I'll build for myself is worth the extra cost. Luckily, the accident happened two years ago, so if I stay accident-free for another year, the premium drops to ~$2600.

damn bro that sucks. I really can't go paying that much for insurance, it just won't fit in with my budget.

Unfortunately, because this state sucks so much, I can't get an insurance quote anytime soon (everyone refuses to give me a quote by anything except snail mail). So it looks like I'm just not getting the MSP :(
