Is it possible to take off the lower front grill w/o having to take off the bumper ?(huh) & still be able to put it back on... j/w.... If so please fill me in :D.

You have to take off the bumper I think...At least from what I remember when installing my FMIC.

I would like to know too. I need to replace mine some blown tire fragments hit mine and it cracked.

the lower grill pops out from behind. the only matching grille replacements currently are billet grilles :(

I have an extra lower grille that my friend isn't using anymore and I am thinking about cutting it to fit into the upper grille so that they match.

you can just pull it out from the front , no need to take off a bumper....done it a few times already.

it just comes out ? no cutting or any thing ?

yeah.. super easy. remove the front plate and plate "harness" (whatever its called!!.. harness sounds cool )

then remove the 4 (i think thats how many) screws holding the guard right under the front of the bumper, and slide the guard off.

from there you can see where the grill is held in by clips on all 4 corners, and cliped on each "column" (the 3 top-to-bottom legs that, i assume, hold the integrity of the grill)

pop these out with a flathead screwdriver and ur other hand pushing the grill out.

takes about 5-10 minutes..

go in under your front bumper to where you can see the back side of the grille. From there, you should be able to see the clamps that allow you to remove the front grille.

Oh yeah, and don't pull from the front. It may crack the plastic that aligns it if you want to put it back on. Just get on your back under your front bumper and push the tabs. They're hard, so you might want to get a screwdriver to push them out, which is what I used.

Both grills come off with the bumper on the car. I amazed at how many people think you have to remove the whole bumper. Both my brothers were shocked when i popped off my top grill in a few minutes. "I didn't know that came off" "damn... " LOL

A screwdriver works well for popping the tabs.
