Msp In Japan?

Does anyone know if they have a mazdaspeed protege in japan , and if they do does it have the same Ecu as us or is it different thanks for any help..

no problem...my understanding is that the bulk of the car was assembled in japan and the msp goodies (turbo kit, etc) were installed here in the states when the cars arrived.

The callaway turbos are put on at dockside in NJ after the boats stops at LA first. My friend works for that dock and he was the first one to tell me about MSP's problem with turbos blowing up when cranked up.

there is no 2003 MSP in japan. the 2003 MSP is US only.

the familia sport20 sedan in japan looks like the msp, but its very different(better) like the 170hp n/a motor. so the ecu is different

what the hell !!! the sport20 a-spec sedans get a lot of really good s***. i want the 1.3bar rad cap and that blue Mazdaspeed air filter ! someone w/ a lot of time and money import a sport20 a-spec w/ the FS-ZE and have some fun turbocharging and shizzle !
