Hey I was curious if anyone else has seen this hood besides me. Sometime last summer as I was scouting for a carbon fiber hood I ran across one on the web that had a very slim intake port, much like that of a Subaru Legacy (Turbo of course). The manufacturer molded the chute to dump the air right over top of the air box, or more appropriately a cold air on the drivers side. It was really quite cool but I'm unable to find it again. Anyone seen this hood? Thanks in advance.

I see that you said it was discontinued but you don't have anything lingering? I hope you do, but if not are you aware of anyone else that makes a similar hood? I badly wanted that last summer but was not in a financial place to get it. Anyway, I appreciate everyone's help. I look forward to hearing back from you guys. Thanks.

Thanks.I don't know of any hoods that are made that look similar to this one... and unfortunately, no, we don't have anything left. That thread cleared the stock out. My other personal favorite is the Xcelerated Concepts CF hood great product and Crazy knows his stuff about CF and makes stuff right the first time! (aka minimal wear and tear from the sun and uv rays) maybe check ebay or see if any of the members that bought the hood are looking to make a small profit and buy one from them.

So all I can say is thank you for reminding me of the manufacturer of this hood. It looks like: http://www.performancehoods.com/hoods/protege.html is still carrying it, but to be sure I'll have email their customer service/sales team to find out. I'm interested but don't have the funds at the moment. This is the hood I want when I do have the money to get one though. If I would have caught your close out sale I would have definitely picked one up since they were at such a discount.
Ok well i just got confirmation from Joseph at ATC and the hood is still being produced, obvious to everyone here but i need confirmation , as far as buying these go it looks as though ProtegeGarage will be selling these in a short time and if the interest and need is there we could possibly do another GB on these.
What do you guys think of that?!
