msp factory upgrade,

okay derrick help me remember, We were on our way to carlisle stopped at the gas station to get gas b4 we left and there was that guy with the black msp we gave him the site he mentioned something about a msp upgrade from the factory, that upgrads the turbo and put a bigger front mount, and i believe he said they upgrade the tranny as well cost 3000 i believe he said it can be added to your total car ammount you owe right now. the guy may have been talking out of his ass he said it puts you a lil over 230 hp i believe, derrick do you remember this, i remembered the guy telling me this b4 we left. Maybe u had already went back out to the car not sure. But if this is so, might be worth it, he also said it was all covered under the warrenty of the car.

anyone heard anythign about this? is it just a rumor / fluke? not that it really matter, my warrenty is prolly already voided.

true, but the fact that mazda is done making the MSP in 03.5 and the engine isnt to strong. i dont think they will push their limits. and the only made around 3500 cars.

it might have been a dealer specific upgrade, but I don't know, I haven't seen any paperwork or anything on the site about this. The kid at the dealership I go to would have told me about that, since he is really into cars. So I guess follow your hunch and just take it as just a guy trying to make his car look better than yours.

According to Mazdaspeed, there are no upgrades to the MSP available, nor any projected for the near future. This is information that I got Yesterday.
