msp exhaust to p5 exhaust

I was wondering if the midpipe on the msp is the same length as the p5 midpipe. I am under the impression that both cats are contained in the midpipe on the msp....am i correct? how much distance is between the two cats on the msp if this is the case? the reason i ask is because i want to make a midpipe for the p5 with a cat setup(high flow cats) similar to the msp so i can run a header and yet still be emissions legal in jersey with the two cats. is this all plausable? as much info as you can give is appreciated.

well I have a mid pipe for msp on my p5 and it fits fine no problem with length and I know that wagnermotorsports already has a mid pipe with a random technology high flow cat in it .

i thought the msp midpipe was the same as all teh other protege ones.. that there was no diffrence. Someone enlighten me

i know about wagners stuff but i want to put two cats in the midpipe. I was told though the cats need to be a certain distance apart because one could melt the other due to the high heat....is this true(it happened to him with an older ford v-8 so i'm not sure.....his cats were 8 inches or so apart). maybe it'd be different cuz its only a 4cyl.

as far as I know they are the same the lenght unless you have some kind of custom set up and as far as the catz go not sure if it maters how far apart they have to be.

same size piping as well? is there a diffrence at all between the stock msp midpipe and the stock protege one?
