MSP ECU upgrade???

Hi, I drive a 2003.5 MSP, and am running stock sofar. I was wondering if there are any ECU's available for the MSP to help add performance and whatnot. If there is, could you leave a link/location of teh parts, and if you know wheter the parts are credibly? Thank you very much.(thumb)

Talk to perfworks on this messageboard. He doesn't have a complete ECU, but is developing a piggyback to allow full control of fuel and ignition timing. Tunable via laptop.

These are truck engines, not high-rev friendly.

our cars are drag limited, no top speed limit.

However I know the rev limiter kicks in on my car at 7500rpm when I am in manual mode, and it doesn't sound bad, you can just hear that the engine is not going to go any faster, not like a complete fuel cut found on some cars.

I am sorry to say, but at least the P5, IS TOP SPEED LIMITED. VERIFIED!!!!
It tops out at 140MPH.

Tested here, of course...TURBOOOO

Because N/A will be drag limited, will never reach 140MPH without some seriuos mods.

I can say now this because of experience.

if you need to go faster than 140 in protege then you may have some issues to speek to a shrink about

you will need to up the power levels and 140 is attainable. I am sending you a package of info via email so you can see what we will offer to you to achieve your goal.

Doomer is correct that the MSP piggyback will solve all your management concerns while retaining ALL the stock componenets on the car. I will get into it somemore when i send you the info.
