Will you guy be welding on hangers or using the clamp style hangers that they use on the hks titanium?

How loud is it without the silencer and with your downpipe?

Will you be offering a catback with a resonator ( PLEASE ) ?

Lastly, is your D/P and the upcoming S pipe replacement ceramic coated?

Weld on hanger. we are making it ourself.

It's going to be sold as a complete turbo-back.
Gains are about 15hp and 20tq, measured before the flash.

The cops in Miami are starting to look under the car with a mirror when they pull you over. You can be fined up to $10K for messing with the emission system.

Sorry, but this is :bs: because there AREN'T any emissions regulations in FL. They got rid of them a year or so ago. Also, that link you posted is for Alabama, not FL.

YES!!!! oh yeah!! now stuff is goin on!! hehe now i have a decision to make. apex, if your dp w/cat will be in the 3" lineup... then a major conflict will be goin on in my head!

You think its BS huh. You are entitiled to your opinion.


My only purpose in posting my warning was to change the mentallity that because Fl. doses not have the emissions testing does not mean that if the cops see that you do not have cats you won't get a fine. Tampering with the emissions system is a Federal Issue, that post were I linked to Alabama was because the guy I was answering was in GA. (another state) and I was attempting to show that the fine changes from state to state. I know that in Miami I was told by a Lawyer that it was up to $10K.

I had your mentality until a couple months ago when my friend was arrested in this:

he was not drag raceing but just parked. When the cops surrouned them they pulled out mirrors an checked the cars for cats. My friends car was impounded and he was arrested. When he when to court he was fined $5K but he was given the option of a reduced fine if he gave up the name of the shop that installed the test pipe. (he did not)


The short of it is this, the cops are getting wise to us so be careful thats all.

Well if you are in the middle of a bunch of modded cars who are already breaking the law, it's natural for the cops to think that you might have screwed with your car & to try to bust you for everything they can. However, I know people who have been running straight pipes in FL for years & never had a problem. The only time I've had someone look under my car with a mirror was at the airport because I went to park in the extended parking garage.

All my cars in the past have had straight pipes, so I know what you're saying. ( The good old days )

However my point is that for some reason the cops here in Miami are now more frequently starting to check things that use to be overlooked in the past. For example, some of them are now checking to see how low the car is, how dark the tint is and are there cats.

Now is any of that fair? NO
Are they doing it? Sometimes

I see that you do Photo shop. Would it be possible for you to put the apex muffler on the first page onto the back of your '03.5?
And or take pics and measurements of the bumper cutout for Apex.

I know that that '03 bumper cutout is bigger than the '03.5, but I cannot take pics to show this because my daughter decided that my camera looked better at the bottom of the pool.

^ I think the cut outs are the same, its just that the rear valence on the 03.5 folds upoward making the hole look smaller. I was comparing the two last night and thats what I gatheredrom staring at 2 damn pictures for an hour.

the cat unit still need to be tested, it looks like it will be in 2 weeks before testing is done. I would say it will be ready for sell end of the month. est cost around $399. we will also make a 3" DP and Exhaust by end of the month.

apexcivic- I've seen some other dp's on here with a kink on the end to offset for where your dp lines up with the stock, rear end exhaust. Does yours line up 100% with the stock rear portion (I forgot what they call it.) Lookin good though, I was waiting for the High flow cat edition.
