Alright Heres The Deal.....about 2 Weeks Ago I Think I Might Have Bent A Valve And Now I Am Afraid Some Dick Dealer Might Have Voided My Warranty...and They Stole My New Nextel Phone! But Anyways Thats Besides The Point Sometime Tommorow Or Tuesday I Am Going To Find Out Exactly What Happened And If Im Covered...i Dont Know Too Much About Aftermarket Internals But I Was About To Purchase Either The Hiboost Or Mam Front Mount....if I Need To Get The Block Opened Up I Am Going To Throw New Pistons And Rods And Valves In...i Dont Know Much About These Any Help Would Be Awesome...Juan ..Beau This Could Lean Me One Way! what exactly is it that you want? the FMIC and rods/pistons? Beau can get you a good price, and if his MSP kit is like the other kits he sells, it requires no cutting for the intercooler install.

plus im sure he can get you a good deal on rods/pistons if you buy everything together and save. the benefits of MAM is having someone to call at all times who posts regularly and acts professional and discloses everything. if you have any questions he ALWAYS is there to help.

What exactly are you asking?

Never seen a bent valve on a 2.0l that didnt go along with a broken piston or rod.

Everyone here seems to adore the cp pistons and oliver rods. Also MP3 racer is currently working on a gb for different/ upgraded valves.

i dont know exactly what happened...the car has like a pinging sound ...i think its coming out of the block and it gets louder and the pinging faster ones the rpms go up.....what i was asking for is help with aftermarket internals b/c if im going to have to open the block im throwing in forged pistons and rods b/c i was going to do that down the road anyways...

definately go with the billet oliver rods and CP pistons..beau can get you them for 12-13 hundred shipped i believe. get yourself a front mount with it and im SURE he'll give you a huge deal.

about 650 for rods and 550 for pistons, give or take a hundred total. the FMIC would be closer to that amount.

im not rebuilding my own engine...im just getting some information on what to research.... im having a shop do it if mazda wont warranty me....but i know the msp is a tricky car to work on and i figured you guys would have better information than a shop that has probably done work on 6 or 7 msp's

Beau sells a whole new shortblock completely machined that comes with the CP pistons and oliver rods for about 3 grand. This would be if you want an engine that will hold a high boost.

you didnt bend a valve... you broke a rod or fried a bearing... mine sounded exactly like that... rpm dependent and the like..
