The pictures are kind of compressed so some things look jagged to me. What I thought was a dent was just a weird reflection. Guess they'll find out if / when they go to look at it.

yeah the pic of the wheel looks like its just dirty cuz it was raining and such.

Here is a list to ask for:

When was the last oil change?
When was the last time the plugs and wires were changed? (MSMs love to eat those up. Ask Phen.)
Ask if the rear diff and tranny fluid were ever changed.
Check brake wear and fluid color/level. I doubt it has ever been flushed.

(werd) Of course these will be asked, although I plan on telling my brother he will be spending about $100 on all of these things for us to replace when he gets it(fluid wise).

Holy s***. Had no idea how much all of that was. LOL. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the FM intake. It draws air from the worst place in the world.

I have the factory diverter valve sitting in a box in the garage. I believe it's still hooked to the hoses.

Timing belt/water pump is due soon i believe (70k?)

All and all it looks pretty solid. (damn i should of gotten a MSM)

your brother is still under 25 right? make sure you check insurance on it before you do anything

Insurance shouldn't be too much more than mine. I am 18 and its $100 a month.
My dads MS6 costs the same as the 6i.

Yeah, I already made him do that. Only going up about $18 including adding comp and collision since it will have a lein on it.

Nope, the car is in my name and i am listed at the primary driver.

Miata insurance is cheap. It is probably because of the year or something else because the MSM costs a lot less than my MS6 and they have exactly the same policy.

And yeah the rim is probably dirty... I was noticing the same stuff all over the top too.

WTH is up with old guys, red cars and yellow engine hoses? Mine was atrocious, some of you probably saw the pictures (I'm talking the entire engine bay full).

It looks in pretty good shape, if there had been an MSM available for this price when I bought mine I would have probably ended up with one.
