I really think people are underestimating the power of the ms6. I mean maybe I get lucky every time I race but I usally dont lose. I've beaten everything modded mustang GT's, s2k's, GTO's, Evo/sti. I think from a stop our car is VERY underestimated, I've pulled even or beaten every sti or evo off a stop. (Including the stage 2 STi w/ opendownpipe)

I know if I were to be able to race myself in my 04 STI against my 06 MS6, my former STI would hands down take my MS6 out without very much trouble. However, I can see the MS6 beating the STi or EVO due to one great driver and one lousy driver who's either afraid to really jump on it, or cannot drive. The best, and most obective way to really look at it is to compare the same magazine test for each car.
As I said before, you are talking a full second faster in both 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile, and a 4mph+ better trap speed in an equal world. Add in much greater mod potential, and they are not comparable. It's not underestimating the MS6, because the car has plenty of power. You just can't compare this luxury sports sedan to an all out enthusiast racing performer like the EVO or STI that runs low 13s bone stock, and does 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds before you even begin to modify it. In car vs car, not really very close at all. In a driver vs driver world, it's you who are the much better driver, not the one having the faster car.
