What other tire sizes can I fit onto the 18" wheels? I'd rather not switch wheels because I'll have to deal with selling off my 18" wheels and tires.
Will 16" or 17" wheels fit over the MS3 brakes? I know the Cobalt owners have a lot of trouble fitting proper offset wheels to clear the monster Brembo brakes.
buy a diff set with different tires, then a swap would take.....10 minutes? you should get the cobalt and tell us how you like it, and stick around to tell us your progress with mods
Yokohama AVID W4S 225 45 18 work very nice all season, been fast in 14 degree weather feels just as planted as stock summer, been -20 and 14" snow they work pretty good, low road noise great wet traction, little softer ride than Bridgestone’s! $665 mounted balanced at my Mazda dealer.
I would like to see the MS3 and the Cobalt SS go head to head at say 50,00 mi. and see which one holds up better. The Cobalt is nice but it is the same garbage, cheap interior that GM has been selling for years. Plus ever been to a Chevy dealer and watch the low grade service from them.
