Sweetest Car Ever
I did a quick search and didnt come up with any results so here goes. I went to the dealer today looking to possibly trade my 3 in for a MS3. Well we started going over the numbers and i wasnt too happy. Im paying $350 a month for my 3 now and the lowest the sales lady could get the MS3 down to was like $498 a month and i think that was even a 72 month financing plan. She also said that they go for sticker price. Im curious as to what everyone who already has a MS3 payed for it and what their monthly payments are. Oh by the way the $498 was on a MS3 sport and i wanna say sticker was $23,500 and then after taxes around $24,200. One more thing....she also did this figuring a 8% interest rate. Thanks everyone
And while were at it, whats everyone payin for insurance on these? I was quoted $195 a month but ive got 12 points on my lisence. haha

Wow, let me get this straight...you are a terrible driver, as the 12 points show, you have a pretty cool Mazda3 by the looks of the picture, which means you will lose all the money you put into an exhaust, shifter, intake, clutch/flywheel, brake upgrade, and springs....tinted windows...

to get a car that is sweet, I mean I have one, it costs me $540 a month but I got the $26,000 GT with NAV and paid 0 down and even financed the taxes...all of it writeoffs against my wife's business...

but the Mazdaspeed3 is just going to get you MORE tickets, more points...
why not reward yourself where your points come off your record with a faster car?

I think your car looks pretty sick anyways...extra power=more speed=tickets=no fun and more money...

And I pay only $90 a month insurance on 100,000/300,000 coverage...but then again I am 10 years no tickets...

im not a terrible driver, i just like to speed alot and i get caught. haha. And thanks for the compliments on my car, i just find myself getting bored easily so i wanted to upgrade to a new car. I dunno, maybe ill wait till some of the points drop off.....
I still wanna know what everyone else is payin too.

sticker said 26$~k I paid $29k out the door..

payments are $502 a month

insurance is $120 a month

hawaii markup owned me.

I say.. DO IT..
but only if you can be sure it wont bankrupt you..

:)

im happy.... ask Ken or anyone else I rant to eveyrday about how much I LOVE this car...

either u owe too much on ur current car...
cuz 498*60=29,800 which isnt bad for a 5 yr and if ur financing everything

but 6 yr 72*498=35,856

wow. they are bending you over

Speed 3..Do it, Do it.......I picked mine up for 23k+taxes. I also had a trade in. My payments for about 17500 @ 7% intrest is $333 a month.

Ide be lucky to even break even with my trade in, ide have to sell my 3 privately. I guess ill have to see what happens. I cant afford $500 a month for a car payment, then another 200 for insurance.

Paid 400 under MSRP for my (wife's) Cosmic Blue Sport. Paying 437/month with 2000 down for 72 months. Insurance I will have to look up.

i dont know if all dealers do this but with my trade came with a little over $1000 tax incentive (fancy way of saying heres more money cos we robbed you on the trade value). so $16500 trade value + $1000 incentive + $500 of sticker price for me didnt seem too bad.

Dealers play with figures all the time. Just look at total money from your pocket against total income/money in the bank.

good luck with what ever you do. maybe buy a good radar detector first.

If I had it to do again, I would have waited on my MS3. I love the car, but I got muffinstuffed at the dealer trading my MSP in. I should have just sold the Protege privately and waited for a sport version to show up. Instead I lost almost 3k on the trade-in and payed $1,800 for the GT package when the only thing it has that I actually like is the headlights.

I wanted to lease it, but the only leases they had available at the time were 5 year...heh. Who in their right mind would lease a car for 5 years, especially when that lease still has a $480 payment? I took the lowest possible payment plan they could offer me which was a staggering 8 year finance for $472 a month. I'm putting my bike up for sale, and when it's gone I'm going to re-finance through my own bank and hopefully come out a little better than even.

I believe there are dealers in MI that are selling them with S Plan if you're eligible. What dealer gave you that quote? Sesi?

My dealer informed me the decision to allow folks to use the S Plan is a Mazda USA decision (corparate). Individual dealers cannot make the call. True or False?

Tuner S, can you provide me with the name of the dealer/s you suspect is allowing S Plan so I can give them a call? Thanks!

I just bought one this weekend; a silver sport model. I paid 20,587 plus reg fees (~$200). No sales tax in Oregon. The dealer was Vancouver Mazda (in WA); they had 2 black, 1 silver, and 1 blue MS3's left.

I'm assuming you got S-plan or some form of discount on it?

Last weekend of the year. Good time to buy. Congrats!!(rockon)

I paid sticker for my sport @ $23,500, then add taxes, tags, freight. I also added the EPP inside & out & the extended warranty. I'm financing through my credit union. Total I paid was $26,352. The monthly payment is going to be something like $360. I'm not sure what the insurance is going to be yet. In Northern VA they would not budge on the price mainly because they are going like crazy here and the dealerships are only getting so many per location & some of them are not getting any. For example, Browns Mazda in Fairfax, VA is getting 1 more for the 2007 year and is only alloted to get 13 for the 2008 year. They were cool as sh*t for not raising the price, but they also wouldn't bring it down either.

I paid $24,590.00 for the GT version with locking wheel nuts, etched vin number on all glass (security reason plus it saves a little on insurance) and floor mats. I also had them add the GAP insurance in case it gets totaled I'm covered for the full amount owed.

My payments are $490.10 per month @ 7.0% interest for 60 months with $0 down and $1800 trade-in allowance. I had $24,751.00 financed after tax, title & license were calculated less trade-in.

My insurance is $72.50 per month or $870.00 per year.

It sounds like you got hosed by your dealer. Don't let them pull that "we're only getting X amount per year on you" again. Most dealers don't know what their allotment is, and they'll use that to sell it to ya. Also, the BS about MNAO controlling S-Plan is a lie too. Try to find a high volume dealer, they'll work with you. If you go to a small dealer, expect to pay full price.

This time, I think I believe them. I know these guys and race with them at the local indoor carting track. If I didn't know them, then no, I wouldn't buy it.
