I am not drilling out the s*** out of the inside, There will only be a small hole where the pin sits.

I decided against the Lock..

I figured that for the one or two times a year that I actually park my car unattended, it would take a HUGE SET OF NUTS for someone to open the hood and start poking around.

Anyone who actually wanted IN, would just break the hood or Latches.

I was too scared to try and squeeze them in on the radius of the hood to not have enough clearance underneath without having to hack something else up. So I did what I've seen before with Citizenpro and a few others with the extension rod to bolt down behind each headlight.

Been following your work for years Brian, great to see you're still at it...

one little question. Your link to the slide shows have a few bottem end pictures where it looks like you're running a UDP...but I can't find in the descriptions if you were or not, only see the spec flywheel...

so have you been running a UDP with a lightweight flywheel? I'm not starting the debates about how good or bad that combo is, i'm more interested in some harmonics with the FS crank...some engines simply can't handle that setup, but i've never seen one FS crank bite it from not using the stock balancer...Since you definitely have one of the most powerful FS's of all time, it would be a good bit of info to know how long you've used light weight stuff hanging on the end of our crank...

Probably machine something pretty to do the same...

So you are correct, I have an aluminum crank pulley and an aluminum flywheel. The Engine gains and looses RPM very fast (Little Inertia) Like a Sports bike.

The Pulley was modified to track a 6 groove belt, this was a picture of the prototype belt, but the new one is over 1.5" wide.

I drove 18,000 Km this summer on the new setup, I am pulling the engine and plan to have a look at the mains. If I notice anything other than polished surface, I will let you know.

Awesome, thanks...Do you have any rough power estimates, particularly max torque and at what rpm?...And have you done any modifications to the oil pump?...

yeah, interested in the mains when you look at them...obviously some wear can be normal in any high output design...but uneven wear...particularly at the oil pump end of the crank, is what i'm wondering about...
