So u just unhook then hook the new and ur done you dont have to reset it anyway? Just unhook the battery neway where can i get 1 and how much do they run.

they are expensive and probably not worth it. just plug and play. Dealerships sell them for $800-900. No need to unhook the battery, when you disconnect the ECU there's no power in it anymore.
