MP3 or CIVIC SI???

i test drove one just for the hell of it and yes it might have more speed in a straight line and the shifter on the dash is really confortable and nice, but take into consideration space, money, fun to frive factor and the fact that you get one of a few with an mp3, just to say proteges will be gone and a year or too when they get replaced with mazda 3, the mp3 looks a lot better and you don't have to do much to it...............................................
I'd take the SI, more aftermarket parts to personalized it the way want it. As for it being slow there are turbo kits and jackson has a supercharger kit out also that bumps up the horsepower to I believe almost or above 200 horsepower. Yes the SI does look weird in stock, but lower, 18's and put the JDM type R body kit and it doesn't look all that bad. If I had know that jackson was coming out with his supercharger kit so early I might have changed my mined and got an SI.
not the si with bolt on's. my badsupercharger kit could be above 3g's and yes honda has everything you could think of in aftermarket parts, when companies come with ideas the first car they think of is a civic, and yeap you could personlize the car your own way, that makes you think you know, when i first got my mp3 man it was so hard to find aftermarket parts (when i had the money to buy them) but now there's quite a lot outhere for it (i'm broke now)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The SI has more aftermarket parts because you would HAVE to buy aftermarket parts to personalize it. I've seen so many it just doesn't excite me.STLBLKMSP said:

right, if you like to drive or if you want to get a kick out of it get the mp3, is so much fun to drive you wont regret it, i spun mine twice at limerock park, i tried to see if i could go above 70 turning but you know i guess i pushed it too much, i reached 132 to 134mph and the car kind of tapped out but it was the best feeling ever man, the car is amazing, and all of this was stock, the cars was ranked in the top 8 in handling in the world, STOCK

If it were a '99 or '00 Civic Si, I'd say go for the Si. They come in blue, have a TON of aftermarket support, and you can't beat VTEC 
. But I'm not a big fan of the new Si. I'd say get the MP3!!! Clunk is annoying, but fixable, and hopefully a permanent fix will be here soon...

Don't waste money on a Civic... 4 Door Comfort. Who knows one day you might be to drunk to drive and get squished in the back... I'd rather be in the back of a MP3 than a Civic Si.

Haha, as soon as we are done witht he World challenge races we are going to put some mazdaspeed compnents from there turbo kit and possibly have a FMIC. Its up in the air to when it will be complete. We are going to be putting the turbo kit on our P5. As well... I would assume its going to be 2 months possibly... if not longer.

MP3 is a beatiful car to choose. Why buy what everyone has? If you want a great handling car... you won't get that stock from Honda. I personally like the looks on your MP3 and the 03 MSP. I own a 03.5 MSP and i hate the fact I have a different spoiler... Fog lights would be nice..
