Was the vette running on 3 cylinders?
I guess your not a big racer are you?
Do you even know what your car is capable of doing...? I dont think so!
vettes are good on straight aways

And on everyhting else. A ZO6 wil hand an mp3 its ass in handling as well.

I have to agree with the last post here - the Corvette is not the slouch that people deride it as. Especially the ZO6. The Corvette (and the Mustang GT actually) have better skidpad results than the MP3, the Acura Integra Type-R and the new Maserati.

What the Corvette is, is an antiquated and boringly stlyed vehicle. The pushrod small block has been beaten to death and the interior looks like it came out of a Mattel or Lego factory. Chevy needs to up the ante and take some risks on styling. Let's make the car appeal to more than just the Sunday supper club crowd, shall we?

the outside and its perfomance are bad ass. I don't realy care about the interior becuase I will never be able to aford one.

why the integra type R handles better then the MP3??

are you illiterate? Do you actually read any of the articles? Two magazines actually stated (including SCC) that the "MP3 has dethroned the type-r as best handling compact"

Why don't you get your facts straight before looking like a total dumbass

anyone see the comparison in Road and Track with the Z06 and Vette. I wouldn't make it seem like there's such a big difference in handling there guys. One of our past members owned a Z06, 3 other vettes as well, and said he liked the handline of the MP3 BETTER then the Z06.

Granted, I'll never try taking a Vette.....duh. But our "little" mp3's ain't so bad at all.

As for Mustangs...dont' even get me started. I've driven them all, and I haven't liked one yet.

i still have the issue I find the artical tonight.

[Bold] MP3 is fast with high octane gas [/bold]

Use high octant gas for you MP3, it surely make the difference. I actucally found that it has difference even between Octane 92 and 94. If you use Octane 94, you engine will sing for you!

Skidpad and handling are two different things, know the difference before you start calling people dumbass, dumbass.

The new SCC also states that the MSP dethrones the Type R (which apperently was still king according to the article) as the best handle sports compact.

I think they always have to refer to the Type r to keep the hoda boys loyal to them

i would also be interested in how the 10hp less p5 which is heavier than an mp3 managed ot be as fast and faster than the mp3........durp

I got this numbers from Mazda 2003 Protege P5 Catalogue....

0-100KM = Manual 10.4, Automatic 11.9
Max Speed = Manual 195km/h, Automatic 176km/h
1/4 Mile = Manual 17,4, Automatic 18.2

I understand those numbers aren't 100% accurate and it all depends on the drivers, but at least it's make more sense then the numbers from MotorTrend.

And now, I understand why people say that P5 is ******* slow! :D

Ok this is for Mp3 Paul... Are you saying that racing gas or octaine booster gives a significant boost in power for the mp3's? Like how much horse power would you get with 91 octaine with NOSOctaine Boost.

I guess if you could get Octane 108 for your car and you can get another 10-20 horse power easily! For "with 91 octaine with NOSOctaine Boost" But I recommend you to use 94 octane if you could plus the NOSOctaine Boost. May be you can match up with the MSP!

I used 104 octane boost on my BEGI turbo MP3. It actualy slowed the car down. Corky mentioned some stuff that is a great booster but used for something else, like stripping paint! I'll try to find the name of it then someone can try it out and tell me if there carsw survives:D
