well lucky me there are gas stations that have 94 octane in good old jersey. wooooooohoooooooo
I think most of the east coast does.
GOD BLESS SUNOCO.

strange Exxon mobile only has 93 here sunoco has the 94. I run 94 with octane boost now and again to see if there is a difference.

I don't get any with 93.
knock is albut impossible at full throatle since both FPR and ECU dump a boat load of fuel into the car. Its part throatle where people have the issue since the damn ECU sucks all the fuel back out that the FPR sends in.

I used 104 octane boost on my BEGI turbo MP3. It actualy slowed the car down. Corky mentioned some stuff that is a great booster but used for something else, like stripping paint! I'll try to find the name of it then someone can try it out and tell me if there carsw survives:D

Yeah, I remember that stuff. if it is on your paint for like 5 seconds, you get to paint your car again! Nasty stuff!

are you saying that you would have bought the WRX is the money or time had been right?

I'll tell you what: I did my homework on the wrx when it first came out and you just can't beat 227 HP and that all wheel drive. The hole package is just nice, but the overall look is not better than the MP3 in my opinion.......(stock)

I wish at that time I could affoard it, but now I am more than happy and proud to be a MP3 owner! I see a million WRX'S on the road and Rarely and MP3's - I like that!

that would be sweet but there going to have to make an engine able to take alot more then 10 PSI of boost to compensate for the weight or shrink the bejesus out of the car.
Think of it, MazdaSpeed 3 all wheel drive and 12 PSI stock.

I"m not loosing my mind (or am I?) I read something about a 2004 AWD protege - I'm going to do a search now...........in the mean time please post if I'm right or wrong - Save my mind.
