Mounting Neons

How hard was if for everybody to put their neons on. I was going to put zip ties on mine until i looked underneath and it looks like i am going to have to drill the clamps on there. If anybody has pics on there install (especially where they mounted the switch) it would be great.

I used double sided automotive tape to mount mine. They are real easy mount under the dash, and passenger side - no worries with people kicking them or anything.

I have foot long neons in my 3, and if you look underneath there's a flat surface (mb slightly curved but that fits real nicely) in each area that you should be able to see.

If you need pics, I would be able to get some by the end of the week perhaps.

I also mounted my controlbox/switch in my center console. Search for my neon install thread.

Not sure if i worded it right before but, i was wanting to know if everybody is having to drill clamps under their 3 to put on the underbody neons. If anybody knows a better way then drilling please let me know.

No need to drill.

Just use double-sided automotive tape.

Has worked great for me so far.

I drilled my neons with the clamps that came with my kits. It is fixed very well and I think it did a great job. anyway...I could post some pics of my installtion if you want.

Is there anything i need to watch out for when i drill like wires

there is nothing to worry about...install is preaty easy and you should be able with not much effort. there is plenty of plastic under the car to drill with no problem. If you are any other questions, don't hesitate!
